Norberto Vazquez Franco of Bennettsville, S.C., affectionately known as “Tito the Handyman,” passed away on June 28, 2025, at the age of 61. Born on December 7, 1963, in Ponce, Puerto Rico, Tito was the beloved son of the late Norberto Vazquez and Luz Maria Franco.
Tito was preceded in death by his parents and his cherished daughter, Jazel Villamarzo.
He is survived by his loving wife, Anselma Franco; his devoted children, Cristal Lawson (Adam), Rachel Villamarzo, Linzy Vazquez (Maelo), Norberto Vazquez (Alexis), Manuel Vazquez (Amy), and Michelle Vazquez. He was the proud grandfather of Kevin, Marcos, Natalia, Melchizedek, Rihanna Petra, Cristal Lavon, Luis, Gabriel Luisito, Natalia Perez, Valeria, Samantha, Alex, James, Malachi, Shilyne, Yinellis, Aubrianna, Abigail, Manuel Jr., Jayden, Jeffrey, Jeremiah Norberto, and Dysheim.
Tito also leaves behind his beloved sisters Theresa Franco, Carlina Hernandez, and his other siblings, whom he held dear, and countless extended family and friends who were touched by his warmth, kindness, and generosity.
Known for his passion for fixing anything and everything, Tito turned his natural talent into a successful business, Tito the Handyman and Sons . He found great joy in teaching his sons the trade and building a legacy rooted in hard work, skill, and service to others.
Tito loved his family above all else. His heart also belonged to his homeland of Puerto Rico, taking cruises to explore the world, and his faithful fur babies—Nala, Diva, and Buttercup.
His presence, humor, and loving spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Tito’s legacy will live on in the hands he taught, the hearts he warmed, and the home he built with love.
