Mrs. Nonnie Mae Adams Simmons, 86, of 11400 Hasty Road died Wednesday, February 6, at Scotland Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Trinity Presbyterian Church officiated by the Rev. Dr. Tom Dendy and the Rev. Dale Riddle. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Park.
She is survived by two sons, Sammy Simmons and Don Simmons of Laurinburg; a daughter, Lavinia Averitt of Laurinburg; two brothers, Clayton Adams of Laurinburg and Lamon Adams of Apex; two sisters, Nora Lynch of Winston-Salem and Bonnie Bell Love of Pilot Mountain; 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.
Born November 23, 1915 in Surry County, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Ida Adams and widow of the late Earlie Lee Simmons.
