Nelly Connie (Morton) Whitt

Nelly Connie Whitt, 83, passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2020 at The Green’s at Pinehurst.

Born January 19, 1937 in Scotland County, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Myrtle Talbert Morton. She enjoyed sewing, fishing and most of all, quilting the most beautiful quilts for everyone she loved.

She is survived by her children, Barbara Miner (Tom) of Reno, NV, Judeen Johnson of Wagram, Emily Whitt of Vass, Melanie Wright of Wagram and Sonya Whitt of Wagram; her sisters, Mary Mozelle Holland of Wagram, and Lucille Talbert Capps; eight grandchildren; and fifteen great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Whitt, and her grandson, Chris Wright.
