Mrs. Nellie Hardy, 99, died Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Morrison Manor.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, April 24, 2017 at McDougald Funeral Home & Crematorium Chapel. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Burial will be held at Hillside Cemetery.
Born November 27, 1917 in Laurinburg, she was a daughter of the late Sims & Maggie Penny Howell. She was a member of East Laurinburg Church of God and had retired from Waverly Mills.
Mrs. Hardy was preceded in by her husband of 52 years, William Burnice Hardy; children, Dot Hardy, Geraldine H. Clark, & William B. Hardy, Jr.; grandsons, Jeffrey Deleon Hardy, and Gil Clark.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, daughter-in-law, Janet Wallace of Laurinburg; son-in-law, Gilford Clark of Laurinburg; grandchildren, William Hardy, III of Laurinburg, Becky Clark Billips (Tony) of Carthage; great grandchildren, William Hardy IV (Crystal) of Greenville, NC, Bailey Hardy Underhill (Jason) of Wendell, NC; great-great-grandchildren, Addie Hardy, Lillie Underhill, & Annie Underhill.
