Mrs. Nealie Clark Norton, 86, of the Sneadtown Community died Wednesday, April 20, 2005, at her home.
Funeral services will be 4 p.m. Saturday at the Wagram Emmanuel Holiness Church officiated by the Revs. Ronnie Norton, Michael Melvin, and Harry Clark. Burial will follow in McNeill Cemetery.
Born December 13, 1918 in Scotland County, she was a daughter of the late Octavius and Mary Cole Clark. She was a homemaker, widow of the late William Norton, Sr. and a beloved mother and grandmother.
She is survived by six sons, Charles Norton and wife, Chris of Wallace, SC, William Norton, Jr. and wife, Becky and Richard Norton and wife, Cindy of Laurinburg, Harrison Norton and wife, Iris, Ronald Norton and wife, Faye, and Larry Norton and wife, Dianne of Laurel Hill; three daughters, Margaret Graves, Betty Hatcher and husband, Jimmy, and Carol Speight of Laurel Hill; a sister, Evelina Morton of Laurinburg; 30 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by a son, Eugene T. Norton, Sr., a daughter, Martha N. Holloway, and a granddaughter, April Holloway.
Memorials may be made to the Wagram Emmanuel Holiness Church, Riverton Road, Wagram, NC 28396.
