Nancy Houriet Colton, 86, passed away Thursday, November 27, 2014.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
She is survived by her son, Gary Colton, Jr. (Suzanne) of Raleigh; her daughters, Penny Colton (Gerald Youngblood) of Richland, WA and Heidi Poage (Bob) of Laurinburg; her grandchildren, Nathan and Daniel Johnson, Patrick and Allison Colton, Shea, Scott, and Samuel Poage.
Born February 23, 1928 in Cleveland, OH she was a daughter of the late Paul V. and Sarah Merrick Houriet. She was a 1945 graduate of Hathaway Brown School and attended Sweet Briar College. She later served as a preschool teacher.
She was a former Elder in the Presbyterian Church of Western Reserve.
