Mrs. Myrtle Long McNeill Watts, 97, formerly of Highland Road died Monday, April 25, 2005, at Century Care.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Calvary Baptist Church officiated by the Rev. Russell Baker. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery.

Born October 5, 1907 in Columbus County, she was a daughter of the late Jack and Sallie Fowler Long and widow of the late Hector McNeill and Liston Watts. She was a retired employee of Waverly Mills.

She is survived by a son, Paul McNeill of Laurinburg; a step-son, L. J. Watts of Laurinburg; 8 grandchildren, 8 step-grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Earl McNeill and a step-son, Floyd Watts, and a step-daughter, Annie Jane Kohnen.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
