Obituary of Myrtle Vickie Fields Taylor
December 22, 1949 – April 1, 2012

Myrtle Vickie Fields Taylor went to be with her Lord on Sunday, April 1. She was born in Laurinburg, NC to the late Frank Garrett & Myrtle Caviness Fields. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Timmy Taylor and her brother, Frank "Pug" Fields. She is survived by her three loving daughters, Melissa & Jimbo Dickerson, Timeri & Art Walters and Vickie Lynn & Bruce "Aaron" Gainey. She is also survived by her precious grandchildren: Mark, Matthew & Madison Radford, Jordan, Cassidy and Morgan "AJ" Dickerson, Jonathan and Justyn Walters and Valli and Erin Gainey. She is also survived by one brother, Samuel "Pete" Fields and wife, Katherine.

Vickie retired from Campbell Soup in 2011. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. Her three girls were her heart and family meant everything to her. She loved spending time with her girls. She enjoyed all of her grandchildren and loved to watch them play sports. For Vickie nothing was better than sitting on the beach and reading a good book.

Visitation will be Monday night, April 2 from 6pm-8pm at McDougald Funeral Home. Services will be held at graveside at Hillside Memorial Park in Laurinburg, NC on Tuesday at 5pm with the Rev. Liza Taylor Marler officiating. She will be laid to rest with her loving husband, Timothy Leonard Taylor.
