Mrs. Miriam Elizabeth Stubbs West, 85, of Prestwick Village died Friday, January 19, at Morrison Manor.
A funeral service will be 4 p.m. Sunday at the First Baptist Church officiated by the Rev. Dr. L.D. Kimrey. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery.
She is survived by two daughters, Sheryl Partridge and husband Bert of Charlotte, NC and Adele West-Fisher and husband Steve of St. Petersburg, FL; one brother, Jesse Stubbs of Laurinburg; one sister, Lucille S. Smith of Laurinburg; four grandchildren, Matthew Partridge and wife Kristyn, Daniel Partridge, Paige West-Fisher and Calli West-Fisher.
She was born February 22, 1921 in Scotland County, a daughter of the late Norman and Clevie Mason Stubbs. Miriam was an active member of the First Baptist Church and taught the 5 year old class for 30 years. She was a former employee of McNaira
