Minnie McIntyre Poole, 80, passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at Atrium Health Stanly.

A private graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm, Friday, March 20, 2020 at Southside Cemetery, officiated by Pastor Jeffrey Hartman. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Born May 1, 1939 in Montgomery County, she was a daughter of the late Charlie Cohen and Carrie Mae Poole McIntyre.  Minnie was a member of First Baptist Church of Troy.  She was a volunteer at the Montgomery Baptist Association food pantry and loved to walk every day.  She was a retired employee of Collins Aikman Yarn Division in Troy.

She is survived by three sons and their wives, Tommy and Cindy Poole of Albemarle, Timmy and Susan Poole of Troy and Terry and Tammy Poole of Troy; two brothers , Jack McIntyre of Cana, VA and Hank McIntyre of Panama, FL; grandchildren; Austin and Shana of Albemarle, Ashley, Timmy Jr., Tanya, Dylan, Elizabeth, Teryn and Aydin of Troy, Cassie and Kurt of Norwood; and seventeen great-grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Poole, a granddaughter, Kaylynne, one sister, Doris Haywood and two brothers, Ted McIntyre and Jake McIntyre.
