Michele Miriam Avnes

Michele Miriam Avnes, 69, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2020 at Morrison Manor.

The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.

Born November 4, 1950 in Albany, NY, she was a daughter of the late Julius and Syralie Brown Avnes.  She was a Paralegal Assistant, a member of the Coast Guard, a Girl Scout leader, and an American Red Cross First Responder.  Michele taught first aid, CPR and AED.  She was a mother to everyone who came into her life and will be missed greatly and loved through eternity.

She is survived by two daughters, Stacey Avnes of New York City, NY and Jillian Avnes of Red Springs; and two sisters, Debbie Houser of San Fernando Valley, CA and Lynn Avnes of San Francisco, CA.
