Michael “Bush” Andrew Brown, 65, passed away April 5, 2022 at his residence.

Services will be private.

Born August 30, 1956, in Montgomery County, he is the son of Betty Inez Moore of Troy and the late Henry Andrew Brown. Mike enjoyed fishing, being on the water, and couldn’t wait to go to the beach to fish with his brother-in-law, Bobby Britt. He was a jack-of-all trades, nothing he couldn’t fix, and there was nothing he couldn’t do. Mike was quick-witted and always had something funny to say. He loved taking care of his family. Mike loved his nine grandchildren, with one on the way, and they loved their Pa. He loved the fire department and was a dedicated Captain of the Uwharrie Volunteer Fire Department Station 8.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Lena Britt Brown of the home; daughters, Melissa Gayle Brown Cranford (Randy) of Elgin, SC, and Whitney Michele Kendrick (Conner) of Troy; step-daughters; Felicia Dawn Mount of Pekin, and Heather Mount of Robbins; and brother, Danny Brown (Kyllie) of Troy. He is preceded in death by his sister, Linda Kay Brown.
