Maxine Love Quick, 83, formerly of McColl, S.C., went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 2, 2017 at her daughter’s home in Deland, Florida.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at Hillside Memorial Park in Laurinburg, N.C.

Born in McColl, SC, she was first married to the late Vernon Quick, was the wife of James Lewis (Bill) Harris, Jr. of Gaffney, S.C., and daughter of the late Newby Franklin Love, Sr. and Amanda Rogers Love.

Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Marcus M. Quick of Gaffney; a daughter, Victoria “Tori” Quick (Phyllis Williams) of Deland, FL; a stepson, James (Jimmy) Lewis Harris, III of Gaffney; four stepdaughters, Christine McAbee, Vickie Thomas (Boyd), Peggy Kies (Brooks), and Linda Wright, all of Gaffney; a brother, Lonnie Love (Cheryl) of Marietta, GA; eleven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death two brothers, Newby Love and Carlton (Tommy) Love and three sisters, Wanda Collins, Ella Wiggins and Melba Baggett.
