Mrs. Mary Murphy Wedemeyer, 95, of Scotia Village died Thursday, January 24, at Scotia Village.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, February 2, at the Morris Morgan Entertainment Center at Scotia Village officiated by the Rev. Dr. Tom Dendy.
Burial will be in Sylvan Abbey Cemetery in Clearwater, FL.
She is survived by a son, Charles Wedemeyer, Jr. and wife, Sandy of Hampstead; a daughter, Nancy Alexander and husband, David of Cornelius; two sisters, Julia Murphy of Pittsburgh, PA and Kathleen Stone of New Cannan, CT; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Born August 26, 1906 in McDonald, PA she was a daughter of the late James Louis and Eleanor Brousse Murphy. She was a retired 7th grade math teacher and a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church where she was a choir member.
