Mary Frizzell Vogt, 70, of Salisbury passed away peacefully on September 9, 2025 at the Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.
A graveside service will be held Sunday, September 14, 2025 at 2:30 p.m. at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery in Troy, officiated by Rev. Alan Murrah.
Born on June 8, 1955, in Montgomery County, she was a daughter of the late Everette and Geraldine Sisk Frizzell. Mary was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. She leaves behind a legacy of love and hard work, as she always instilled the importance of it in her family.
Throughout her life, Mary was a testament to the power of faith. She loved her Lord with all her heart and found great solace in her spiritual journey. Mary also had a passion for country music, which brought her immense joy.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas Vogt, of the home; sons Eugene Norris, Jr. of Laurel Hill, Chuck Norris (Kim) of Kannapolis; brothers, Bo Frizzell (Amy), Coleman Mac Frizzell, Ernest Carl Frizzell, Wallace Frizzell (Star), and Bobby Frizzell (Brandie), all of Laurinburg, and Furman Frizzell (Cherrie) of TN; sisters, Jerri Frizzell of Andrews, SC and Lessie Bost of Hamlet; grandchildren, Kevin, Alan, and Alexi; and great-grandson, Jesstin.
