Mary Jackson Stanton

Mrs. Mary Jackson Stanton, 80, formerly of McNeil Street died Monday, June 14, at United Families in Laurinburg.
A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Philadelphus Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Red Springs.
She is survived by two sisters, Myrtle Watson and Pauline McGee of Laurinburg; three grandchildren, Charles Smith of Hamlet, Vicki Ramsey of Fayetteville, and Sheila Matthews of Frederick, MD; two great grandchildren; Michael Ramsey of Fayetteville and Rachel Smith of Hamlet; several nieces and nephews.
Born October 10, 1918 in Robeson County, she was a daughter of the late Sim B. and Evelyn Peele Jackson and widow of the late J. C. Stanton.
