Mary Alice Smith, 76, formerly of Laurinburg, passed away Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Palmetto Health Richland in Columbia, SC.
She was born December 16, 1940 to the late Ted and Betsy Woods. Ms. Smith retired from Greyhound Bus Lines where she was a Regional Dispatch Manager. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Reece Smith, Jr.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at Hillside Memorial Park.
She is survived by one son, Jerry Trader of Columbia; two brothers, Billy Woods and Gary Woods of Texas; one sister, Shirley Moore of Texas; one grandson, Samson Trader; two granddaughters, Amber Behnke and Madison Behnke; and two great grandchildren, Rylan Harper Vuocolo and AnnaLynn Rose Trader.
