Mary Ann (Scott) Greene

Mary Ann Greene, age 76, formerly of Laurinburg died on March 31, 2022 at Grand Strand Memorial Hospital in Myrtle Beach.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at Hillside Memorial Park, officiated by Rev. Tracy Gross. The family will receive friends at Bumgarner Family Funeral Service and Crematorium from 1:30-2:30 p.m.  Due to COVID-19 restrictions, masks are recommended and please practice social distancing.

Mrs. Greene was born in San Bernardino, CA on December 27, 1945 to the late John and Susie Voorting Scott.  She was in the banking industry for over 30 years.  She was a wonderful wife and mother and enjoyed playing cards, and spending time with her grandchildren and her sons.  Her love for painting allowed her to go to Paris to increase her artistic talents with other painters.  She will be remembered for being a hard worker.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Bobby Greene; sons, Michael Greene (Ashley), Bryan Greene (Susan); brother, John Scott; grandchildren, Heather Dorenbusch (Stephen), Morgan Greene, Andrew Greene, Brandon Greene and Madison Greene; and great grandson, Mason Dorenbusch.  She is preceded in death by her son, Robert James Greene.
