Mrs. Mary Kate Paul Stevens, 85, of 109 Washington Ave. died Thursday, February 7, 2008.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Sunday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium Chapel officiated by the Rev. Ralph Brown. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Park.
She is survived by four sons, Johnny Stevens and Michael Stevens of Laurinburg, Larry Stevens of Aberdeen, and Donald Philip Stevens of Lynchburg, VA; a sister, Barbara Kuhn of Dellville, AL; eight grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
Born May 25, 1922 in Robeson County, she was a daughter of the late Samuel H. and Ada Ammons Paul. She was a retired textile employee and a former volunteer for the American Red Cross. She was also an active member of the First United Methodist Church where she was in the J.O.Y. Club and a circle member.
Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 101 W. Church St., Laurinburg, NC 28352 or Hospice of Scotland County, PO Box 1033, Laurinburg, NC 28353.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Saturday at McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
