Mary Magelene McNeill

Mary Magelene McNeill, 90, of Laurinburg passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at Atrium Health in Pineville.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Hillside Memorial Park in Laurinburg, officiated by Rev. Gary Wilson.

Born June 21, 1936, in Scotland County, she was a daughter of the late Walter Monroe and Mary White Williams Clark. Mary enjoyed doing puzzles, reading her bible, and taking walks.

She is survived by her son, John T. McNeill of the home; grandchildren, Quinton Locklear (Samatha), and Cameron Blake Davis, both of Laurinburg; great-grandchildren, Jaylen Locklear, Kaylen Locklear, Landon Davis, Hileigh Davis, and Mady Davis; half-sister, Connie Graham; and step-sister, Sarah Sinclair. She is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, John Thomas McNeill; daughter, Cindy Davis; sister, Ruby Dunn; brother, Billy Clark; granddaughter, Miranda Davis; grandson, Brandon Davis; half-brother, Walter Clark; and step-sisters, Margaret Granneman, Juanita Barber, Sadie Wilkerson and Eva Martin.

Bumgarner Family Funeral Service and Crematorium is serving the McNeill family.
