Mary Ellen (Mcallister) Caddell

Mary Ellen Caddell, 79 of Laurinburg, passed away on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Morrison Manor.

A funeral service will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 5, 2018 at the McDougald Funeral Home Bumgarner Chapel, officiated by Rev. Richard Tyson. Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. prior to the service in the Chapel.

Born July 19, 1939 in Scotland County, she was a daughter of the late L.W. and Bertha Liles McAllister. She was a loving mother, loved the Lord and enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda McGee (Charles) of Laurel Hill; sons, Lee Pittman (Sylvia) of Laurinburg and James Pittman (Gail) of McColl, S.C.; sisters, Martha Fields of East Laurinburg and Mildred Ricketts (Rick) of Hendersonville, N.C.; her brother Larry McAllister (Dot) of East Laurinburg; grandchildren, Kelly Pittman, Leann Pittman, Danielle Pittman and Heather Rowland (Jordan); great grandchildren, Briston Pittman, Charity Parker, Kaleeya Tyler, Jarred Clark; and great grand coming soon, Kingslee Isaiah Tyler. She is preceded in death by her brother, Buddy McAllister and grandson James Allen Pittman.
