Mary E Dennis

Mary Elizabeth Dennis, 67, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at FirstHealth Hospice, Pinehurst, NC.

Friends and family will celebrate her life with a graveside service in conjunction with her sister Diane on July 29, 2020 at 6pm at Sharon Cemetery in Mount Gilead officiated by Rev. William Saunders.

Born in Montgomery County August 9, 1952, she was a daughter of the late James Willard Dennis, Sr. and Doris Crouch Dennis.  Mary loved working crossword puzzles and word searches.  She was a cashier in the food service industry.

She is survived by one daughter, Mary Ann Thompson of Troy; one son, Michael Thompson of Cape Coral, FL; one brother, Willard Dennis, Jr. of Troy; two sisters, Diane Burris of Albemarle and Joyce Bush of Virginia; three grandsons, Nicholas Thompson of Troy, Devon and Zachary Thompson, both of Cape Coral, FL.  She is preceded in death by one son, Bobby Thompson.
