Mary Ruth Hinson Cummings, 71, died Thursday, November 18.
A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Wrights Cemetery. Visitation 9:30 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
She is survived by a son, Johnny Cummings; a daughter, Mary Sue Cummings, a brother, James R. Hinson; a sister, Lucy Knight; 10 grandchildren.
Born September 18, 1939 in Laurinburg, she was a daughter of the late Alexander and Mary Alice Hinson. She was always a loving and dependable mother and grandmother for 55 years who never met a stranger nor had an enemy.
