Mary Magdalene Britt, 67, passed away Saturday, January 9, 2016 at her home.
A funeral service will be 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 13th at Gibson Pentecostal Holiness Church officiated by the Rev. Joel Quick. Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
She is survived by her fiancé, Jack Brunner of Laurinburg; her son, Stacy T. Britt and wife Mary Ann of Wagram; her daughter, Barbie Britt of the home; her sister, Paula Spelts; grandson Shane Britt and granddaughter Sharon Britt Cripe and husband Billy; and three great grandchildren, Haelyn, Josie, and Trent Cripe.
Born May 13, 1948 in Laurinburg, N.C., she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Annie Morton Drew. Along with her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Stacy Britt, her brother, Arthur Leroy "Buddy" Drew Jr., and sisters, Janice Drew Horton and Lacetta Ann Drew.
Mary worked and retired with Abbott Laboratories in Laurinburg.
Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
