Mr. Marvin Gibson, 77, of 5001 Apt. 4 Gibson Manor Apartments died Thursday, February 24, 2000 in Scotland Memorial Hospital.
McDougald Funeral Home of Laurel Hill will announce funeral services.
Born May 16, 1922 in Marlboro County, SC, he was the son of the late Tab Walters and Lillie Gibson. Marvin married the former Mary English on June 17, 1939. A founding member of Gibson Friendship Mission, he was a retired Spool tender with Morgan Mills.
Survivors include his wife, Mary E. Gibson of the home; a daughter, Lillie Paul of Hamlet; and a sister Louise Walters of East Laurinburg. Four grandchildren and six great grandchildren survive him.
