Miss Martha Dixon Stogner, 65, of 1703 Stonewall Road died Tuesday, July 26, at Scotland Memorial Hospital.
Graveside services will be 9:30 am. Friday at Hillside Cemetery officiated by the Rev. Elizabeth Forester.
She is survived by an uncle, Dr. Tom Henley of Laurinburg and numerous friends at Laurinburg Presbyterian Church.
Born May 13, 1940 in Scotland County, she was a daughter of the late George Hunter and Annie Christine Henley Stogner. Martha was a faithful member of Laurinburg Presbyterian Church where she attended regularly as long as her health permitted. She sang in the church choir for a time, was a member of Circle One of Presbyterian Women and always enjoyed the children of the church. She loved her Bible and read it faithfully. Her simple, child-like faith was a gift of grace that will long be remembered.
