Martha Saunders Lassiter, 89, died Monday, October 26, 2009.
A memorial service will be 4 p.m. Thursday at Spring Hill Cemetery in Wagram. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Born December 14, 1919 in Troy, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Pallie Saunders and widow of the late Ralph "Buck" Lassiter. Martha was a retired high school teacher. She was also a Sunday school teacher at Spring Hill Baptist Church where she was also active in the Women's Missionary Union.
Memorials may be made to Spring Hill Baptist Church, PO Box 195, Wagram, NC 28396.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
