Martha Watts Hasty, 96, passed away Saturday, June 6, at her Scotia Village residence.
A Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Old Laurel Hill Presbyterian Church. Visitation will follow in the fellowship hall.
She is survived by her daughters, Anna H. McMillan (James) and Debbie H. Milligan (Marshall) of Laurinburg; her son, Andy Hasty (Bunny) of Laurinburg; her grandchildren, Judi Sword (Bill), Matthew Milligan (Michelle), Jay McMillan (Margaret), Shannon Hasty, Rodney McCarter (Tammy), Drew Hasty (Brooke), Susan Parker (Kevin), her great grandchildren, William and Sara Sword, Maggie Rose Milligan, Sidney and Nolan Strickland, Levi Hasty, Bryson McCarter, Megan Parker, Morgan Parker, and Tristan Currie.
Born November 21, 1918 in Gaffney, SC, she was a daughter of the late Alberry Hill and Dovie Medlin watts and widow of the late Walter Hasty to whom she was married for 64 years. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Barbara H. Sasseen and her great grandson, David Sword.
Martha enjoyed reading, doing crafts, traveling, playing bridge and bingo along with spending time with her family.
