Mrs. Martha Culbreth Everett, 83, of 411 East Church St. died Sunday, August 7, at the Morrison Manor.

A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hillside Cemetery officiated by the Rev. Neil Carter.

She is survived by a sister, Violet McIntyre of Laurinburg; a neice, Margaret Farrah-Sullivan of Rockingham and a great nephew, Wayne "Butch" Farrah, III of Rockingham. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Charles B. Everett, Allen M. Everett, Frank W. Everett, and Baxter M. Everett.

Born April 30, 1922 in Laurinburg, She was a daughter of the late Charles F. and Carrie Genes Everett. She was a retired employee of Morgan-Jones, Spring Maid, and J. P. Stevens. She was also a life long member of Laurinburg Presbyterian Church where she was in the Fulton Bible Class and Circle #2. An avid gardener, she was also a member of Scotch Gardeners.
