Mrs. Marjorie Ruth Sparks Todd, 84, of 13700 Old Stage Road died Friday, February 28, at Scotland Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Stewartsville Baptist Church officiated by the Revs. Steve Owenby and Lewis McLean. Buriwl will be in Crestlawn Memorial Gardens in Orangeburg, SC.

She is survived by a son, Tim Sparks of Laurinburg; six daughters, Peggy Stevens of Gibson, Betty Ann Barker of Coraopolis, PA, Mary Lou Seltzer of Bessemer, PA, Nona Melino of Enon Valley, PA, Cynthia Grinnen of Summerfield, FL, and Melody Jones of Raleigh; a sister, Dorothy Hanson of Peoria, IL; 25 grandchildren and 33 great and great-great grandchildren.

Born September 10, 1918 in New Eagle, PA she was a daughter of the late Leon and Mary Shreaves Livemont. She taught special education and remedial reading in public schools for over 30 years. She was also a former missionary to Grand Bahama, Haiti, and Japan.
She also was a church organist, pianist, and choir director.

The family will be receiving friends from 7-9 p.m. Monday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
