Marion Jordan, age 83 of Troy, passed away on January 5, 2025, after a brief illness. Marion was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend whose kindness and wittiness touched the lives of all who knew him.

Per his wishes, there will not be any services.

Marion was born August 11, 1941, in Montgomery County, to Gurney Jordan and Bernice Stevens Jordan of Star, NC. Marion was retired from Capel Rugs where he worked as a fixer. He also owned and operated Jordan’s Kwik Stop with his wife, Toni Jordan.

In addition to his parents, his sister Ola Mae Hulin, and his brothers Alvie and Bleese Jordan, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Toni Jordan.

Marion is survived by his children, Mike Jordan (Stephanie Stevens) and Laura Gobrish (Joey); his cherished grandchildren, Mackey Jordan (Kristen Clark), Dereck Jordan, and Harley Jordan; great-granddaughter, Aubrey Fish; his sister, Jerri Smith (Jeff); his brother, Melvin Jordan; his brother in-law, Terry Liles; and a host of nieces, nephews and dear friends.

The family invites all who knew him to remember and honor his remarkable life in their own special way.

Marion will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for the love and the joy he brought into the lives of those around him. His funny stories and unwavering zest for life will forever remain a guiding light in the hearts of his loved ones.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saint Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105, in Marion’s memory.
