Maria Katherine (Shaw) Caddell

Maria Katherine Shaw Caddell, age 55, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2025, at Hospice of Randolph.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 – 8:30 PM on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at Bumgarner Family Funeral Service.

Born January 2, 1970, in Montgomery County, she was a daughter of the late John William Shaw and Cladie Wynell Shaw.

Beyond her immediate family, Maria's kind and loving nature extended to all the children in her life. She was known as an awesome mother and aunt.  She loved her family.

She is survived by her two daughters, Tina Apollonia Jaimes of Troy and Anastasia Lisa Caddell of Robbins; four grandchildren; and siblings, Neena Melissa Shaw of High Point, Ronald Dwain Shaw of Beaufort, NC, Brenda Shaw Cook of Lenoir, and Paula Christine Shaw of Troy. She is preceded in death by her brother, John William Shaw, Jr.
