Marguerite Sessoms Tyndall, 74, passed away on Friday, March 31, 2017 at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton.
A funeral service will be held Friday, April 7, 2017 at 3:00 pm at McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium Chapel officiated by the Pastor Kenneth Blease and Rev. Dwayne Powers. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Park.
Born October 25, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Boyd and Margie Sanders Sessoms.
She is survived by her children, James Tyndall of Laurinburg, Teresa Carlisle of Laurinburg and Jerry Barnes (Margaret) of Hamlet; three brothers, Thomas E. Sessoms (Carole) of Laurinburg, Vester Sessoms (Jeanette) of Laurel Hill and Boyd Sessoms Jr., of S.C.; nine grandchildren, Chassity Jacobs (Phillip), Ceirea Strickland (Thomas), Kristy Carlisle (Shain Smith), Jeanette Locklear, Derrick Benfield, Eric Benfield, Bradley Grant, Peter Grant and Marie Grant; seventeen great grandchildren, Hayden Hyatt, Brianna Milligan, Richard Milligan, Jaylen Madden, Harley Jacobs, Brandon Jacobs, Shaina Smith, Kaylann Smith, Steven Grant, Riley Grant, Alexis Grant, Bradley Nicole Grant, Rosalinda Strickland, Zach Locklear, Jackie Locklear, Kenlee Benfield and Gage Benfield; and one great great-grandchild, Jaydonn Milligan; and lifelong best friend, Brenda Coleman of Laurinburg. She is preceded in death by her son, Wayne Sessoms and sister-in-law, Judy Sessoms.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 6, 2016 from 7-9 pm at McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
