Margo Alison Carter King, 78, passed away early on May 1, 2025 after a long illness.
Margo was born August 14, 1946 in Hollywood, California to Samuel T. Carter, III and Alison B. Nott Carter.
Margo spent her childhood in Bedford, New York and attended school at Rosemary Hall in Greenwich Connecticut and later and Katharine Gibbs in New York City. Margo worked as a paralegal for Emery Air Freight in Wilton, Connecticut for 23 years. Margo held a Commercial Pilot Certificate in both powered aircraft and gliders. Margo loved animals and adopted many pets from shelters in Connecticut and North Carolina.
She is survived by her husband, Richard D. King of Scotia Village in Laurinburg, North Carolina.
