Mrs. Margaret Ray Simpson, 78, of Springs Mill Road died Friday, December 19, at her home.
Funeral services were 3 p.m. Sunday at the Laurel Hill Baptist Church officiated by Don Malpass. Burial followed in Hillside Memorial Park.
She is survived by a daughter, Cathy R. Thompson and husband, Charles of Fayetteville; a step-son, John A. Simpson of Laurel Hill; a sister, Ruth Hirt of Sarasota, FL.
Born December 12, 1925 in Kingston, TN, she was a daughter of the late James and Sarah Isham Beatty. She was a retired employee of ARA/Aramark and a charter member of Laurel Hill Baptist Church. She was predeceased by her son, Donald Ray in 1993.
