Margaret Alice Dellinger

Margaret Alice Dellinger, 92, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2024 at FirstHealth Hospice House in Pinehurst.

Services will be private.

Born November 12, 1931, in Cleveland County, she was a daughter of the late Arvil Pinky and Maddie Ann Smith Dellinger. Margaret liked watching NASCAR and hummingbirds. She enjoyed cooking, country music, and fishing.

She is survived by her daughters, Sheila Ann Cranford (Roy) of Asheboro, Paula A. Sheffield (Bill) of Troy, and Finice Lynn La-Pointe (Leo) of Florida; brother, Dwight Dellinger (Judy) of Maiden; sister, Gail Wilson of Lincolnton; nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and thirteen great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her eight brothers and sisters; grandson, Christopher Cranford; ex-husband, George L. Wood; and her husband, Herman M. Chrisco.
