Mrs. Margaret Lee Brower Hildreth, 92, of Chesterfield Road, died Tuesday, January 21 at Scotland Memorial Hospital, Laurinburg, NC.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM in First United Methodist Church, Wadesboro, NC with Rev. Dr. A.L. Joyner officiating.
Born August 28, 1910 in Anson County, NC, Mrs. Hildreth was the daughter of the late William Alexander and Tobitha Caroline Brower. She was predeceased by her husband, Thurston W. Hildreth.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church where she was active until her latter years. Mrs. Hildreth was retired from Little Manufacturing Co.
She is survived by a son, Jackson Hildreth of Sunset Beach; three daughters, Amelia H. "Midge" English of Laurinburg ; Tobitha H. Deese of Charlotte and Margaret H. Yokley of Wadesboro; a brother, Robert A. Brower of Wadesboro; four sisters, Ann B. Caldwell of Charlotte, Laura Brower of Wadesboro, Sara Williams of Monroe, LA, and Julia Safrit of Winston Salem; nine grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
