Marcia Eldora (Jenkins) Glenn

Marcia Eldora Glenn, 69, of Laurinburg, North Carolina, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Sunday, August 3, 2025.

She was born on June 10, 1956, in Grove City, Pennsylvania, to the late Richard and Nancy Jenkins.

Marcia, affectionately known as "GG" by her beloved grandchildren, had a personality as vibrant as her spirit. Her goofy sense of humor and unwavering willingness to help anyone in need made her a beacon of light in her community. To know Marcia was to know a friend; she truly knew no stranger and was loved by all who had the pleasure of meeting her. Her home was a haven, a place where people found support and solace. Marcia never allowed negativity to overshadow her happiness or the happiness of those around her. Throughout her life, she embraced many roles, but two of her favorites were being a school bus driver in Mercer, Pennsylvania, and a massage therapist in Laurinburg, NC. She found great joy in both, connecting with people and making a positive impact on their lives.

Marcia's memory will be cherished by her three children: her son, Joshua Glenn and his wife Kari of Mooresville, NC; her daughter, Jessica Malloy and her husband Christopher of Laurinburg, NC; and her son, Jacob Glenn of North Pole, AK. She is also survived by her four adoring grandchildren, Richard (Hunter), Jazmine, Kaitlyn, and Cameron, and her brother, Thomas Jenkins and his wife Sharon of Stephens City, VA.  Marcia was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Nancy Jenkins, and her siblings, George Jenkins, Archie Jenkins, and Beverly Randolph.

To honor Marcia's memory, the family asks that you perform a random act of kindness for someone in need.
