Mrs. Mamie Ernestine Davis Howard, 76, of 2727 Kilborne Drive died October 26 at University Hospital.
Funeral will be 3 p.m. Sunday at McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium Chapel, Laurinburg. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery.
She is survived by three sons, Mike Howard of Winston-Salem, William Howard, and his wife, Katherine of Norwood, and Andy Howard of Charlotte; two brothers, Bill Davis and Nick Davis of Charlotte; five grandchildren, Nellie Sue Howard, Heather Howard, Bromley Howard, William Ray Howard, and Samantha Cass Howard; a great grandson, Ian Last.
She was a US Navy veteran of World War II, was retired from the Mecklenburg Department of Mental Health, and was the widow of the late Willie James Howard, a former Laurinburg policeman.
McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium is serving the family.
