Malcolm “Mike” Miller Liske, 73, passed away March 5, 2020 at FirstHealth Hospice House, Pinehurst.

There will be no services.  The family will be receiving friends at the home, 419 West Allenton Street, Mt. Gilead.

Born August 10, 1946 in Randolph County, he was a son of the late John Malcolm Liske and Beulah Miller Liske.  He was a member of Hamer Creek Baptist Church.  He wrote and sang his own country and blue grass songs, and played his harmonica.  He was very artistic, loved making knives, hanging out with his friends and had many varied interests.  He was a self-employed junk salesman.

Mike is survived by his wife of forty-eight years, Carol Parsons Liske of the home; one son, Malcolm Tracey Liske of Mt. Gilead; two daughters, Cheyenne May (Phillip) of Walkertown, NC and Lee Chambers of Salina, KS; daughter-in-law, Christine Liske of Charlotte; eight grandchildren; and one sister, Bonnie Godwin (Joe) of Goshay, MS.

Memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
