Mrs. Maisie Patterson Parker Briner, 100, of Chapel Hill, formerly of Laurinburg died Wednesday, December 5, at UNC Hospitals, Chapel Hill.
A memorial service to celebrate her life will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Aldersgate Methodist Church, Chapel Hill. A graveside service will be 3:30 p.m. at Hillside Memorial Park in Laurinburg.
Mrs. Briner was born October 5, 1907 in Broadway, NC. She was the owner of McDougald Furniture Company and later co-owner of Parker Furniture.
She is survived by two sons, Thomas W. "Tom" Parker, III of Laurinburg and William Patterson "Pat" Parker of Chapel Hill; four grandchildren, Thomas Parker, Robby Parker, Meredith Parker and Miles Parker.
