Mrs. Maggie Frances Stubbs Ross, 92, of 1623 McCormick Rd. died Saturday, September 11, 1999 in Dundee Nursing Home in Bennettsville.

Funeral services will be 5 p.m. Monday at Boykin United Methodist Church officiated by the Revs. Walker Jackson and Gene Harris. Burial will follow in Pine Crest Cemetery, Gibson.

She is survived by two daughters; Allie McCormick and her husband, R. C., of Bennettsville and Dora Abernethy and her husband, Jack, of Laurinburg; five grandchildren; Lynn Jones and her husband, Graham, of Fuquay-Varina, NC, Lisa Douglas and her husband, Ronnie, of Florence, Phyllis Davis and her husband, Andy, of Laurinburg, NC, Carla Knight and her husband, Michael, of Camden, and Jackie Ivey and her husband, Jack, of Bennettsville; six great grandchildren, Wayne Douglas and Kathryn Douglas of Florence, Garrett Davis, Ross Davis, and Walker Davis of Laurinburg, and Bradley Jones of Fuquay-Varina, NC.

Born May 25, 1907 in the Boykin community, she was a daughter of the late Holden L. and Allie Webster Stubbs and widow of the late Roy Bethea Ross. She was a homemaker and a member of the United Methodist Women at Boykin.

Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium, Laurinburg.
