Mrs. Lula Williams Ormsby, 100, of 823 Atkinson St. died Friday, June 15 at her residence.
Funeral services will be 5 p.m. Sunday at the First United Methodist Church officiated by the Revs. Jerry Lowry and Nancy Willard. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Park.
She is survived by two sons, Dale Ormsby of Rockingham and Ted Ormsby of Conyers, GA; three daughters, Hazel DuRant of Laurinburg, Doris Millan of Springfield, VA, and Peggy Trollinger of Lexington; 16 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
Born March 21, 1901 in Moore County, she was a daughter of the late Devotion and Katherine McDuffie Williams and widow of the late Robert Leon Ormsby. She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church and the JOY Sunday school class.
