Mrs. Lucile Arant Karjala, 83, of Scotia Village died Thursday, December 6, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, Pinehurst.
She is survived by her husband, William Andrew Karjala; a sister, Miriam Arant Stevens of Southern Pines; a brother, Michael B. Arant, Jr. of Titusville, FL; and one grandson, Patrick Karjala.
Born December 31, 1917 in Calhoun County, SC, she was a daughter of the late Michael B. and Emmie H. Arant.
A memorial service will be held Friday, December 14, 3:00 p.m., at Scotia Village where they have made their home for the past twelve years.
