Louise Peele

Louise Trogdon Peele, of Bennettsville, SC, passed away in her sleep, on Sunday, December 25, 2022 after suffering from a stroke.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at  Tabernacle United Methodist Church in Hamlet, officiated by Rev. Kelly Hunt, Rev. Bobby Norris and Rev. Mark Phillips. A visitation will be held at the church from 12:00-2:00 pm prior to the service.

Louise worked as a seamstress at several locations. She had many hobbies including shopping, working in her flower garden, painting everything, and eating ice cream every night.

She loved her family and church.  As her children rotated her care between them, she attended three churches and loved them all along with the members attending. People loved her so much as she was a caring person.

She is survived by her sons,  Howard Lee Peele, Jr. (Gloria), of Cheraw, SC, William H. Peele (Patti), of Chesterfield, SC; daughter, Kelsie Temples (Glenn), of Lexington, SC;  daughter-in-law, Marie Peele, of Wallace, SC; four grandchildren, two-step grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Howard Lee Peele, Sr.; and son, George R. Peele.
