Louise Odom Clark, 89, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2013 at Scotia Village.

Funeral services will be 4:00 p.m. Wednesday at Centre Presbyterian Church officiated by the Rev. Dr. Howard Whitehurst. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Louise was the widow of the Joe Boaz Clark Jr. She is survived by her sons, Joe B. Clark, III and wife Joan of Maxton and their children JB Clark and wife Erin of Madison, Wis. and Thomas Clark of Raleigh. Carl Clark and wife Cheryl of Maxton, and their children Jake Clark of Elizabethtown and Jan Cirillo and husband John of Durham. William Clark and wife Sallyann of Laurinburg and their children Will Clark and wife Katie of Roanoke Rapids and Walt Clark of Raleigh.

Born March 25, 1923 in Moore County, NC, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Teresa Sims Odom. She was preceded in death by brother Ernest Odom and sister Mary Odom. She is survived by sister Ernestine McRae of Maxton. Louise was an active member of Centre Presbyterian Church where she was an Honorary Life Member and past president of the Women of the Church. She was also active with the annual ingathering. She loved gardening in her yard and was an active member of the Maxton Garden Club


Memorials may be made to the Centre Cemetery Fund, PO Box 665, Maxton, NC 28343.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
