Lorene (Holt) Brisson

Lorene Holt Brisson, 84, passed away on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at her home.

A graveside service will be at 2:00 pm Thursday, November 18, 2021 at Hillside Memorial Park, officiated by Rev. Stephen Coble.

Born October 28, 1937 in Wayne County, TN, she was a daughter of the late Bud Harrison Holt and Viola Burks Holt.

She is survived by her children, Jan C. Lee of Sanford, Jackie Canady of Raeford, Rodney Churchwell (Stephanie) of Sylvester, GA, Elizabeth Montez (James) of Saudi Arabia, Buddy Brisson (Melissa) of Laurel Hill,  and Jasper Brisson of Laurel Hill; siblings, Ruth Walker of Risco, MO, Morene Coble of Laurinburg, Terry Glenn Holt (Marie) of Maxton, Jerry Dunn Holt of Collinwood, TN and Betty Reaves of Laurinburg; her grandchildren, Whitney Lawson, Carrie Dimmick, Hannah Lee, Darryl Allen, Amanda Inman, Christopher Inman, James Montez, Colby Montez, Stephen Baker, Kevin Powell, Brooke Odom, Jessica Tarlton, and Katie Brisson; and several great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Jerry Renea Baker; and her siblings, Clarecy Holt, Gary Lynn Holt, Margaret Holt, James Holt, Charlie Holt and Corene Daniel.
