Lois Kay Blake

Lois Kay Blake, 86, passed away on Sunday, October 10, 2021 at FirstHealth Hospice House in Pinehurst.

Services will be held Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Bumgarner Family Funeral Service Chapel, officiated by Dr. Harold Pope.  Burial will follow at Southside Cemetery in Troy.  The family will receive friends on hour prior to the service in the chapel. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, please practice social distancing and wear a mask or another form of face covering.

Born August 10, 1935 in Montgomery County, she was the daughter of the late John Matthew and Roanie Beane Burris. Lois enjoyed spending time with her family, listening to music, and going to the Honey Hole fishing. She also attended Family Worship Ministries.

She is survived by her sons, James Edward Blake (Trudy) of Norman, Wayne Blake (Sue) and Kenneth Blake (Brenda) both of Troy; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Blake; sister, Myrtle Johnson; and brothers, Johnny Burris and Bill Burris.
