Lloyd Ray Rose, 64, died suddenly Thursday, February 17, 2011.
Memorials services will be private.
He is survived by his wife, Irma Spring Rose; two sons, John Giles (Nicole) and Jerry Rose (Angela) of Laurel Hill; three grandchildren, Kayla Giles, Stephanie Giles, and Brent Giles.
Born December 10, 1946 in New Hanover County, he was a son of the late Clarence and Josephine McIver Rose. He served with the US Army for 20 years, and was a member of the DAV and the Hamlet VFW Post. He loved his grandchildren, Woodworking, fishing, and his cats.
Memorials may be made to Scotland County Humane Society, 1401 W. Blvd., Laurinburg, NC 28352.
