Lisa Monroe King, 48, died September 5, 2017 at First Health Moore Regional Hospital.
A memorial service will be held 6:00 PM Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Christian Life Ministries of which she was a member, in Biscoe, officiated by Pastor Jamie Hinson.
Lisa was born June 2, 1969 to Daniel Monroe of Star and Sara Shuping Monroe of Troy. She graduated from East Montgomery High School in 1987 and received her Associates Degree from Auburn University. She was the Dietary Manager of Autumn Care of Biscoe. Lisa loved her grandkids and supported them in all their sporting activities. She loved watching her television shows, Big Brother and General Hospital, playing Go Pokemon and was an advocate for Relay for Life.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Ronnie King of the home; one daughter, Jennah King (Derck) of Troy, three sons, Jacob King (Stacy) of Troy, Wesley King (Erin) of Albemarle, NC, and Cory King of Troy; one sister, Amanda Monroe of Star; and one brother Chris Monroe of Star, NC; six grandchildren; three special nieces and one great nephew.
The family will receive friends Thursday, September 7, 2017 one hour prior to the service at Christian Life Ministries, 204 Lambert Road, Biscoe NC and other times at her daughter’s home, 176 Hunters Glen Road, Troy.
